SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Sioux Falls property owners adjacent to the Big Sioux River levees can meet tonight with officials from FEMA about recently released flood maps.
Jeff Schmidt with zoning and planning says the renovated levees should take most city properties out of the federal flood plain.
Schmidt says now in 2015 the levee is done, it's been certfied, so the levee is back in place so it should go back to every one behind the levee is protected.
Tonight’s meeting is from six to eight at the Instructional Planning Center on East 38th Street.
