SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Police Tased 35-year-old John Choul last night after he hit an officer in the head with his fist.
Officer Sam Clemens says it’s not uncommon for Sioux Falls police to show a Taser.
Clemens says officer simply have to display the Taser and most suspects will comply with the officer's commands. He says, however, that Sioux Falls Police will use the Taser when ned be.
Officers were trying to get Choul out of traffic on East 6th Street when he took a swing at the officer who was not injured.
