SIOUX FALLS (KELO AM) - The South Dakota Department of Transportation will be doing repair work to the bridge deck in the westbound lanes of the Interstate 90 bridge over I-29 for the next three days.
Westbound I-90 is being reduced to one lane and the speed limit lowered to 45 mph through the interchange during construction.
Ramp traffic will be maintained throughout the project, but space for merging traffic will be limited so motorists are asked to slow down and be aware of suddenly slowing and merging traffic both on the ramp and when proceeding through the interchange.
Drivers should also be aware of construction workers and equipment adjacent to the driving lanes.
The prime contractor for this project is SFC Civil Constructors of Sioux Falls and work is expected to be complete by this weekend.
