Sioux Falls, SD (KELO AM) – One person was killed and another arrested in a Saturday morning shooting in Sioux Falls.
Sioux Falls Police were called to 4425 W. Briggs Drive, Unit 32, for a reported shooting. Upon arrival, officers found a non-responsive 19 year old male that had been struck by a bullet. Lifesaving efforts were not successful and the individual died a short time later.
The investigation determined that one of the individuals was handling a loaded rifle which discharged, resulting in the death of the victim. That subject was identified as David Leonard Randle Jr., Age 21, of Sioux Falls. Randle was lodged in the Minnehaha County Jail on a charge of Manslaughter.
The victim’s information is not being released at this time pending family notifications.
