Sioux Falls, SD (KELO AM) - The Falls Park Visitor Information Center hosted 197,065 visitors in 2015, a 5% increase over 2014 and 14% increase over 2013. Visitors who entered the Visitor Information Center in 2014 totaled 186,456. The 2015 number of visitors is also a record since it’s opening in 2000. The Visitor Information Center is managed by the Sioux Falls Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Visitors have the opportunity to sign an electronic guest book, but the actual count is taken as people enter the building. It is estimated that approximately one-third of the people visiting Falls Park actually enter the Visitor Information Center and/or sign the guest book.
Visitors who signed the guest book in 2015 have come from all 50 states and 43 foreign countries.

The Falls Park Visitor Information Center is located in Downtown Sioux Falls and is attached to the five-story viewing tower in Falls Park. The Visitor Information Center provides citywide visitor information as well as a wide variety of Sioux Falls memorabilia.
