SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - An unannounced saturation patrol Friday night in Sioux Falls resulted in 9 DWI arrests.
Officer Sam Clemens says the fourteen extra officers wrote 170 citations.
Clemens says officers are trying to make sure that drivers are following the rules of the road and not drinking and driving. He says police keep making these arrests and they'll keep doing saturation patrols. Some are announced and others are a suprise.
The added patrol worked from seven to three Friday into Saturday morning.
