SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Postal workers at the main processing plant in north Sioux Falls alerted police about suspicious packages and a drug dog backed up their claim.
Officer Sam Clemens says someone mailed six pounds of pot to Sioux Falls.
Clemens couldn't say what tipped postal workers to suspect the packages. They called police who brought in a Belgian Malinos drug dog who indicted to handlers there were drugs inside.
Clemen says the investigation will he handled by the Drug Task Force that includes federal, state and local law enforcement agents.
Clemens says there’s no arrest yet.
