SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Absentee voting for Tuesday's city-school board election is available Saturday, April 9, from 8 a.m. to noon.
City Clerk Tom Greco says if you can't vote Tuesday, vote by absentee ballot.
Greco says you can vote absentee in person Saturday at the Minnehahah County Auditor's office and that applies to southern Sioux Falls residents living in Lincoln County
There are over 110,000 registered Sioux Falls voters. Greco says voters have every opportunity to vote and encourages them to take advantage of it.
Mail and in-person absentee voting ends Monday, April 11, at 5 p.m. An authorized messenger can return a ballot up to 3 p.m. on election day.
The Sioux Falls city and school board election is Tuesday, April 12, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at precinct polling places. Voters will choose two school board members, an at-large council member and one council member from the Northeast, Northwest and Southwest Districts.
