Sioux Falls, SD (KELO-AM) Sioux Falls Lincoln High School on Wednesday April 20 will celebrate 50 years of educating children in South Dakota's largest city. There will be a re-dedication ceremony in the new gym, starting at 4PM.
Lincoln High was originally dedicated on April 15, 1966.
The re-dedication ceremony will culminate in the unveiling of the Abraham Lincoln statue from Sioux Falls famed downtown Sculpture Walk. LHS supporters are still raising funds to purchase the statue.
The public is very much invited, especially former students and staff members.
