SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - For the second time in as many weeks there was friction this morning between Minnehaha County Commissioner Dick Kelly and former Commissioner Bob Kolbe.
Kelly questioned Kolbe's continued appearance before the commission saying the body did not need a history lesson every week.
Kolbe reprimanded Kelly telling him that this was public comment time and if he didn't like it, he could "depart." Kolbe went on to claim that Kelly wanted him to retire so that Kelly could be appointed to finish the term and then run as an incumbent.
Kelly retorted "when did I say that."
Kolbe has been addressing the commission during public comment for weeks.
