SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - A Sioux Falls man is accused of bruising a three year old boy while visiting the victim’s grandmother
Officer Sam Clemens says the woman demanded that 50-year-old Sterling Spotted Elk leave after she heard slapping sounds. As Spotted Elk was leaving the woman discovered bruises on her grandson and called police.
Spotted Elk was arrested a short distance from the North French Avenue home.
Clemens says Spotted Elk is charged with felony, abuse or cruelty to a minor.
