SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - According to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, almost 90 percent of South Dakotans seeking health insurance through the government Marketplace will be eligible for tax credits.
Michael Fierberg says thousands of residents have established an account but haven’t finished the process.
Marketplace open enrollment ends March 31 and Fierberg anticipates heavy online use leading to the closing. If you don't enroll by the deadline you can't get private health insurance from the Marketplace until the next open enrollment period starts.
